National Trust project to record ancient trees

National trustThe National Trust is embarking on a three-year porject in the hope to identify previously unrecorded ancient trees on its land. The data will be fed into a national record kept by the Woodland Trust.

Volunteers will be used to survey the Trust’s woodlands and parks. Recording the trees in an important step towards protecting both them and the ecology and biodiversity¬†that they support.
