Natural History Museum to display Darwin specimens this week

The Natural History Musuem will this week display two previously undisplayed mockingbirds as part of the Darwin200 national programme which will run throughout 2009 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth. Darwin collected the specimens from the Galapagos, and they are said to have influenced his transmutation theory. Read more about this story from the BBC.
